Minimum System Requirements

The low total cost of ownership associated with Store Operations™ makes your decision an easy one.  Store Operations is easy to setup and learn.  It provides an all inclusive package designed to work on a PC compatible system running Windows XP.  The database architecture uses Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to accommodate business both big and small.  For small and medium sized stores that can't afford the costs of setting up and maintaining SQL Server 2000, the MSDE version of SQL 2000 is provided to allow you to start with your database on a Windows XP machine.  Store Operations allows your point of sale system to grow with your business.

Store Operations can run on a stand-alone PC or in a networked environment. The following are minimum hardware requirements for running Store Operations:

A PC with Intel® Pentium® lll 500 MHz or higher processor (Pentium 4 recommended)

Microsoft XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 1a or later or Windows Server 2003.

A minimum of 256MB of RAM (512 MB or higher recommended)

Approximately 50MB of available hard disk space for the Store Operations application and files (hard-disk usage will vary depending on configuration and location of database files)

a CD-ROM drive

VGA (800x600) or higher-resolution monitor with 256 colors for POS application; VGA (1024x768)or higher-resolution for Manager application.

Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
