Gift Certificate, redeeming 1.)Enter item number for Gift Certificate. 2.)Enter "1-*" and then the item number for Gift Certificate and press "Enter". 3.)Enter dollar amount of Gift Certificate being redeemed. (this number will be a negative) 4.)You are now ready to continue with the sale. 5.)When sale is complete press "Enter" to get to the Tender page. If the customer owes the store money the Tender page will show balance in red If the customer is owed money the tender page will show change due in yellow. Generally the change due will be placed in as a store credit for the customer. IMPORTANT If the customer is given store credit the customer must be in the database. Also, the "Charge Account" option must be checked under the "Credit Info" tab in the customer database. |
